WELCOME GRANT CAREER STUDENTS –WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS
Clermont Northeastern Schools will be taking over the National School breakfast and lunch program for Grant Career Center and we are so excited.
The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDADietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
This year we will be serving many hot and cold items for breakfast and breakfast will only be $1.00 for paying students, $.30 for reduced students and free to any students who qualify for free lunch. Lunch is $3.25 for paying students, Reduced Lunch is $.40 and free to any students who qualify for free lunch.
You can pay on your child’s account by going to the Grant Career Website and clicking on the menu button and then on the links button, then on Pay Fees & Lunches. Please know it may take up to 24 hours for the payment to be applied. Usually faster than that.
You can also submit checks made payable to grant Career Center Food Service or you can also send cash to be applied to the students account.
This year we will be offering Big Daddy’s pizza each day as well as different menu items daily. We will be serving many fresh fruits and vegetables daily as well
We look forward to welcoming the students to the cafeterias this fall. School meals are a great value and huge convenience for busy families. We hope parents will support this effort by encouraging their students to give the healthier meals a try. Students are far more likely to pick up a fruit or vegetable in the lunch line if they have been introduced to those foods at home.
